Ms Kumudi Imanya Abeyratne is a student of Musaeus College since 2012 and she has enrolled to Gymnastics in 2013.Kumudi has become under 11 national champion in 2013. Since then, she was the national champion in her age category consecutively, until 2019.
In last April, Kumudi has been selected to the National Gymnastics Team to represent Sri Lanka Gymnastics team at the Commonwealth Games in United Kingdom in July/August 2022 and Asian Games in China in later this year. According to Sri Lanka Gymnastics Association, Kumudi’s records are really pleasing, and we would be expecting an international medal from her for the country.
Kumudi will be leaving for Birmingham, United Kingdom on 25th July 2022 together with National Gymnastics Team to compete at the Commonwealth Games this year, probably the youngest athlete of the Sri Lanka team for the games.
Kumudi has won under 12 National Champion at the Sri Lanka Junior National Gymnastics Championship in 2016, won National overall Championship at the Sri Lanka School Junior Gymnastics Championship in 2016, became the under-11 National Champion, won National overall Championship at the Sri Lanka School Junior Gymnastics Championship in 2017, won under-14National Champion award at western Province School Gymnastics Championship in 2018. Kumudi is a member of Western Province Gymnastic Team since 2018 and won senior national team championships in 2018 and 2019, which was making her to win Western Province Sports Colors.

In addition, Ms Kumudi is a Western Province colours winner for her performances in Gymnastics. Kumudi is a bright pupil in the college and highly progressive in her an academic career as well.
