Other Achievements
The team representing Musaeus College which comprised of Binuri Gunawardena, Gimasha Chandradasa, Arunalie De Alwis and Dewni Dayananda emerged champions at the CA Business Plan Cpmetition 2019 organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. The team competed against five other schools in the grand finale pitching an innovative and eco-friendly business plan in developing an edible cup to win the grand prize to fly to Brisbane, Australia in May to represent Sri Lanka at the BlueShift Business Case Competition organised by the QUT Business School of the Queensland University of Technology
2019 Achievements
1. The Musaeus College Drama emerged first at the All Island Shakespeare Challenge – 2019, organized by the Shakespeare Centre of Sri Lanka.

2. Thivinya Ravindi Premaratne of Musaeus College was awarded the Best Leading Innovation Award at The Kaohsiung International Design Expo -2019 initiated by Macoa Innovation and Invention Association in Kaohsiung Taiwan. Her invention was a Hybrid Gas Cooker.
3. Binithi N. Perera brought credit to her alma mater by winning first place at the National Public Speaking Competition organized by the English Speaking Union of Sri Lanka.
She represented Sri Lanka at the International Public Speaking Competition – 2019 which was held in England.
4. Thihansa Sarachchandra emerged first at the All Island Chess Championship – 2019.
5. Anali Kumarasinghe, member of 23rd Colombo Girl Guide Company, represented Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association at the “Sustainable Development Goals Training which was held in Switzerland from 30th April to 08th May, 2019.
6. Yasodara Koralage was the Winner of the “D Cube Robotics Competition” at Innovate 2019 which was organized by the University Sri Jayawardhanapura.
2018 Achievements
1. J.A.D. Nethumi Jayalath of Grade 6 emerged 1st at the “පොත් කියවන්නෝ පෙරටම යන්නෝ 2018” All Island competition organized by the Western Provincial Education Department.
2. Thivinya Ravindi Premaratne was the 2nd Runner-up at the Innova Minds Competition – 2018/2019 organized by the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission. Her invention was a Multi-Functional Gas Cooker.
3. 6 Participants from Musaeus College were the winners at the Science Research Competition – 2018 organized by the National Science Foundation.
