2018 – Sports Achievements

1. Musaeus College emerged winners of “Gold Stars” at the All Island Schools, Under 14 Hockey Carnival 2018.

2. Musaeus over 15 swimming crew was placed 3rd at the National & Junior National Swimming Championship -2018 under the following categories.
4 x 50 m freestyle relay
4 x 100m freestyle relay
4 x 200m freestyle relay

3. Musaeus rowing crew became the champions at the LC/MC Regatta for the Third consecutive time with a lead of 48 points.

4. Under 17 Netball emerged Champions at the Milo All Island Netball Tournament – 2018.

5. The Under 13 Badminton Team of the school emerged Runners-up at the All Island Inter-school Badminton Doubles Championship – 2018.

6. Dulanya Munasinghe has won the first place at the Team Event Table Tennis Tournament, representing Western Province at XLIV National Sports Festival – 2018 conducted by the Ministry of Sports Development of Sports Development.

7. Under 15 Badminton Team of Musaeus College emerged runners up at the All Island Inter School Team Badminton Championship.

8. Musaeuits emerged overall champions at the Intermediate Age Group Swimming Championship organized by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Association.

9. Thehara Galagedara participated at the World Schools Chess Championship -2018, held in Albania.

10. Ruvi Rajakaruna participated at the International Tennis Federation Asia 12 & Under Team Championships, held in Nepal.

11. Musaeus College Rowing Crew has emerged over-all runners up at the 33rd National Rowing Championship – 2018. Hashini Hettigoda has been awarded the school girl Sculler of the Regatta.
